What is OmeTV?

OmeTV comes from Bad Kitty’s Dad, LDA, a company based in Portugal, and has been online since 2015. The idea is the classic Omegle formula: one click, one stranger, camera on. What sets OmeTV apart is simply the crowd – according to its own site, hundreds of thousands are online at peak times, so you rarely wait more than a few seconds for the next match.

The extras are genuinely practical: pick a country, set your gender or start in couple mode. A built-in translator saves international conversations, and around the chat there is a small social layer with photos and followers. Apps exist for iOS and Android, and the browser version works fine too.

The catch: safety. The age check is a checkbox anyone can click through. After warnings about grooming cases, Australia even pulled OmeTV from its app stores in October 2025 – the website keeps running anyway. Moderation exists, but it is not as consistent as you would hope.
